The Forsyth County Agriculture Building is located at 1450 Fairchild Road, Winston-Salem, North Carolina and is home to the Master Gardener Volunteer Demo Gardens. This is one of several places Master Gardener Volunteers can put their classroom education to practical use and earn volunteer hours doing so. Gardens and their curators are:
Container Garden………………………..... open
Cut Flower Garden………………………….Becky King
Herb Garden………………………………... Pamela Stewart

The Master Gardener volunteers also maintain an asparagus bed and a compost bin. Last year more than 20 varieties of heirloom tomatoes were planted in the vegetable garden. This endeavor was an incentive for local farmers to follow a trend of growing more heirloom and organic varieties.
The gardens are host to both official tours and unofficial walk throughs. They also serve as the backdrop for local media events and provide an urban oasis for the citizens of Forsyth County and the surrounding areas.
Work days for general garden maintenance are Tuesdays
from 9 am - noon. Newcomers are always welcome and encouraged to participate.
